| Description |
| 8 Post 1833 members met at Saint Vincent DePaul located at 2424 North Pacific Hwy Medford Oregon. The members were Post Commander Norman (Monty) Neal Quartermaster/Past Post Commander Rachael Watters Past Post Commander/Past District Commander Ralph Groover Surgeon/Chaplain Ken Wilson Judge Advocate Jim Potter Trustees Paul Cook Bruce Pellecchia Jennifer Selmyer. The members all set up serve and clean up the dining facility. Pancakes Corn Beef Hash Scrambled eggs with Canadian Bacon water and coffee were served. The event began with set up at 6am the doors were open at 8am we were finished with clean up by 12:30pm. Members Bruce Pellecchia and Jim Potter met the day before on May 1st to do some food prep. We only served about 30 people which was not what we were hoping for but there were several other events happening throughout Medford during the same time. It was still a good event which put food in the bellies of a few of the homeless population. |
