Description
On evening of August 22 the VFW Post and Auxiliary and the American Legion Post 26 sponsored 4 recent Bandon HS graduates with their families for a meal in our Canteen. These graduates recently joined the military in the delayed enlistment program (2 Marines and 2 Air Force) and will depart soon to begin their service. We 3 groups gave each enlistee $500 as a way to honor their commitment to a stint in the military. We wish each one a successful tour in their military enlistment.
